Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice has been the leading hospice in Wichita since 1983.
We were first known as Hospice of Wichita. When other non-profit hospices extended invitations to us to continue their mission, we changed our name to Hospice Incorporated. Our services now cover 25 counties.

Hospice is a concept of care
Taking care of a loved one during the final stages of life can be very rewarding but also stressful. Our role is to provide physical, emotional, social and spiritual support and bereavement services to the patient, caregivers, and family.

Hospice care is provided
Most people prefer to stay at home, but care can also be provided in a nursing home, assisted living facility, hospital setting or hospice in-patient unit. (Short breaks for the patient's caregiver may also be available and arranged through hospice.) Visits will be scheduled on a regular basis.

The purpose of Advance Directives
is to allow you to make your wishes known when you are unable to voice them yourself. Forms are available upon request. Give a copy of the completed Advance Directives to your care team, as well as your doctor.
